About me: Name: Matthew Shreve (a.k.a. The Wizard) Hometown: Fairmont, WV Title: Tour Manager Tour: CMF X - Tour About Me: I'm a small town boy who left the "Shire" in search of adventure. I'm an adventure sports athlete and aspiring sport videographer. I've dedicated my life to world travel and the pursuit of my passions; climbing, kayaking and videography. I live for new experiences and new environments... CMF has helped quench my thirst. CMF History: I married into CMF or rather my sister did. During the time I was in college my sister was dating one of the founders of CMF, Vijay Makar. By the time I graduated I had heard enough about CMF to be inspired to join the crew. Directly after graduation I moved to Atlanta, GA and joined CMF on New Years Eve 2008. Best Part of working for CMF: Working with creative people all over the world! Craziest On Tour Story - ? Favorite CMF Movie: The Butterfly King (UCLA 2009) Favorite Movie: Top Gun Favorite Actor/Actress: Kevin Costner/Natalie Portman Favorite Quotes: "I wanted movement and not a calm course of existence. I wanted excitement and danger and the chance to sacrifice myself for my love. I felt in myself a superabundance of energy which found no outlet in our quiet life." -Leo Tolstoy "O' how incomprehensible everything was, and actually sad, although it was also beautiful. One knew nothing. One lived and ran about the earth and rode through forests, and certain things looked so challenging and promising and nostalgic: a star in the evening, a bleu harebell, a reed-green pond, the eye of a person or a cow. And sometimes it seemed that something never seen yet long desired was about to happen, that a veil would drop from it all; but then it passed, nothing happened, to riddle remained unsolved, the secret spell unbroken, an in the end one grew old and looked cunning...... or wise.... and still one knew nothing perhaps, was still waiting and listening." -Hermann Hesse-
