The teams who created the top 90 movies, as selected by our distinguished panel of judges, CMF Staff, and text voting results, converged in NYC on Saturday, May 1, for daylong screenings, awards, and musical performances. Over 1,000 people joined us to celebrate the Northern region tour of 2010 for Campus MovieFest -- the best yet, with HD cameras, AT&T Samsung handsets, trips to film festivals, and more opportunities than ever for students to share their stories on the big screen.
The Price of Silence, from NYU; That Good Night, from Bridgewater State College; and Bloodsuckers, from Northeastern were crowned Best Picture, Drama, and Comedy respectively at this year's Northern Regional Grand Finale. The filmmakers won Apple Laptops, Final Cut Pro, iPods, and exposure opportunities on Virgin America and at the Cannes Film Festival. Rough Rough Stuff from Loyola University of Chicago was chosen as the AT&T Golden Mobile Winner and received Samsung handsets and accessories. Congratulations to the winning teams!
All 90 movies screened at the NRGF will be screened and judged again at the CMF International Grand Finale at Wynn Las Vegas.
Get your tickets and discounted rooms at the Wynn before May 18.
