An NC State themed adaptation of the cult classic TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000, University Science Theater 3000 finds engineering student Janie marooned on the Satellite of Luck, forced to watch cheesy movies as psych majors from rival school UNC experiment on her mind. But Janie's built a couple of robot friends to help her lampoon the movies so that she can keep her sanity. Add that to her cheerful resilience and the mad scientists' constant problems in their underground lab, and somehow Janie and the 'Bots always come out on top.
