Description: Completely void of motivation and hope, Sandra is invited to participate in a project that forces her to step outside of herself and become a beacon of creativity and love, all while collaborating with her fellow artists who share much more with her than she thought. She decides to accept the invite and heads to 'Room 290' where a 35 foot by 5 foot raw canvas lays across the room with endless painting supplies. She realizes that she is not the only one who faces inequality being an immigrant in this country, she also realizes that she is one of many who use art as a vessel in overcoming any negative stigmas from discrimination. At one point or another, you will be handed stones instead of respect- that's when we choose to take those stones and act like the ripples they cause when thrown in water and grow with a drive to create beauty in this world when all seems hopeless.
