Description: My idea was to take the camera for a weekend and film anything that i found interesting, scenic or colourful then thread them together as best I could, for example the long zoom out finally shows a sign "holland park mews" then the explorer finds himself in a park. A lot of the effects were playful experiments but the opening scene that switches to a green background when the traffic lights turn green is an idea that i thought of after filming that i will use in the next film i make - the character's moods will conveyed by obvious changing background colours. After editing together my favourite shots i noticed the panning was almost robotic, hence the name. But i always intended there to be this kind of twist (could have shown in the mirror that it was the perspective of a dog all along for example). But I didn't have a dog or robot to hand so have left the audience to try and piece the title to the film.
