Are you a student at a college or university that's not hosting Campus MovieFest movie-making on your campus this semester? But you'd still like the chance to enter History Lives to share your short documentary online and possibly see it on The History Channel?

You're in luck. History Lives, the historical documentary category of Campus MovieFest, is accepting submissions from all college students.

You can add the documentary to your portfolio, possibly get credit from a professor, or even win great prizes including History Channel Prize Packs, Apple iPods, and more. Plus, it's free to participate.

All you need to do is create a short 5 - 7 minute history documentary that makes our past relevant to the present. Check out the tips to find out more about the guidelines. If you're a history professor interested in having your class participate, let us know and we'd love to help.
