Campus Ambassadors

Background

We were four students with one idea--now we're the world's largest student film festival and we couldn't have come this far without the support of our on-campus liaisons and leaders across the country — our Campus Ambassadors. CA's are an integral part of our operation. We look to you as the future of CMF and the next generation of Campus Ambassadors.

Our CMF Team does all the heavy lifting for the 40+ events nationally per year, but CAs help customize the events to make them perfect for each school. What does a CA do?

-Learns about Campus MovieFest by attending the Campus Ambassador overnight retreat for participating campuses in your area.

-Creates school specific marketing and events to engage residence halls and groups to make sure everyone knows about CMF.

-Gets as many groups as possible to sign-up for CMF and encourages groups to complete their films.

-Executes the standard CMF promotional activities with posters, emails, and tabling.

-Orchestrates the CMF launch, collection and finale at your school in conjunction with the CMF team.

-Thinks of new and innovative ways to make CMF a greater success at your school, and promote your school at the regional grand finale.

What do I get out of being a CA?

- Great experience and recommendations for future jobs

- Possible academic credit (depending on your school)

- A chance to meet school and community leaders, and change your campus forever

- Some cool perks -- too top-secret to post on a website


What if I can't commit to all the responsibilities of a CA?

No worries. We want you involved in the making of CMF. Be honest with us about how heavily you want to be involved in the production process and we'll find a place for you. Of course, the more leadership and participation from the CA's, the better the festival will be at your school.
